Green Zarda SWEET RICE




Zarda is a colorful food item and favorite sweet dish of every age groups, specially in Pakistan and rest of the nearest countries. Its the combination of many healthy ingredients like khoya, rasgullay, rice and dry fruits.
  Green Zarda SWEET RICE

Ingredients
Rice. 2 cups...
Sugar. 1 cup
Dry milk powder 3 tbsp
Desiccated coconut. 3 tbsp
Almonds. 3 tbsp
Raisins. 3 tbsp
Cherrys jellies. 3 tbsp
Red cherry. Half tin
Cinnamon sticks. 3
Cloves. 5 to. 8
Green cardamom. 6 to 8
Ghee. 4 tbsp
Green food color
Orange food color
Boil rice in 2 separate pans and add cloves. Cinnamon sticks and green and orange color and boil rice 80 % done and set aside.
Heated ghee and add green cardamom and sugar and cook till sugar melt completely then add green and orange color rice and cook 5 to 10 minutes . Then make a dam or temper rice add almonds ,dry milk powder, raisins, cherries and dam for 5 to 10 minutes . Then dish out sweet rice and garnish with almonds desiccated coconut and serve.
