Bariyaan Ingredients
Mong ki Daal 2 piyali
garlic paste 1 tbsp
Crush cumin zeera 1 tbsp
Crush corriender seeds 1 tbsp
Red pepper powder 1 -1/2 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Green pepper 2
Curry ingredients
Onion 1 large
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato 3
Yugart 1 cup
Methi dana 5 seeds
Rai dana 1 tsp
Red pepper powder 1 tsp
Termeric powder half tsp
Cortiender powder 2 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Method for bariyaan
Wash and soak mong daal for 3 to 4 hours than blend and mix all above ingredients.( Mixture agar patla ho tu maida shamil karain warna rehne dain).
Than fry all bariyaan pakors.
Method for gravy.
Heated oil than add methi dana and rai dana and sprinkle (karkarayain). Add onion and fry till golden and set aside. Than sprinkle methi dana and rai dana and add ginger garlic paste. And cook for 1 minute.
Blend brown onion,tomato and dahi (yogart) and add muxture on ginger garlic paste. Add all sizzlings red pepper, haldi (termeric),dhaniya powder(corriender powder and cook till done add some water to cook the gravy.
If done then add mong daal bariyaan and cook for 5 minutes .
Then in the end garnish with corriender leaves (hara daniya) and green chillies and serve.
