CHICKEN ADOBO WITH GARLIC BOILED RICE
Recipe Sumaira Kanwal Naqvi
Ingredients:
Chicken 1kg
Soya Sauce 1 Cup dark soya sauce I use
Vinegar 1 Cup
Wase authentic coconut vinegar use hota hai
Garlic cloves 8 garlic cloves
Black pepper 1 tsp
Crush red pepper 1/2 tsp additional
Red pepper powder 1/2 tsp additional
Ginger 2 pieces julienne
Bay leaves 3 -4
Sugar 1 tbsp
Sesame oil 2 tbsp
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Onion 1
Celantro few leave
Boiled Rice 2 Piyali teapot
Green chatni as required
Method :
Mix Soya sauce, Vinegar i use White vinegar, garlic cloves, black pepper and with chicken merinated 4 hours good to merinate overnight. Then After 4 hours and overnight merination remove chicken and pat dry with tissue paper and save the sauce.Then in a pan add sesame oil and olive oil and heated oil then add chicken then brown and golden the chicken.Add onion and saute for 1 minute add crush garlic 3 garlic cloves rest of the merinated sauce.
Jo sauce bacha li thi chicken wo add karni hai. Add red pepper powder half and crush red pepper half, sugar , ginger julienne, bay leaves add little bit water and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. then cover and cook for 30 minutes.then cook or simmer additional more 15 minutes till chicken tender.Your chicken nicely cooked and smell really very good.
Flame off and garnish with cilantro.
Boiled rice main Water jab garam ho raha ho tu garlic add karain crush aur phir rice daal dain then phir water drain kar dain and dam laga dain rice ko aap ke rice tiyaar hain.
NOTE :
maine is main additional red pepper , onion use kiye and hara dhaniya jo ke wase is main nahi use hota sirf vinegar aur soya sauce aur black pepper garlic ginger se ye recipe merinate hoti aur banti hai. haan aur is main maine japanise dark soya sauce use kiya jis ki wajah se sauce thori dark ho gayi hai aap log light soya sauce use karain ge tu color dark nahi ho ga.
