Focaccia Bread
Recipe Sumaira Nadeem
Ingredients :
Flour 250 or 300 g
Yeast 5 to 6 g
Salt pinch
Water 180 to 200 ml
Olive oil 4 tbsp
Sundried tomato few 4 to 5
Olives 10
Oregano leaves 1tsp
Rosemary 1 tsp
Sea salt Rock salt half tsp
Method :
Mix yeast salt oil in a bowl and warm water and knead until the dough becomes neat.
Add the herbs and rock salt and knead in.
Leave dough to rest for 45 -60 minutes at room temperature until it doubles in volume
Cover it with a wet cloth or plastic wrap.
Knock back the dough and shape accordingly.
Add sundried tomatoes olives and or vegetables if you like capsicum etc.
Leave dough to rest for another 45- 60 minutes so the volume increase again.
Place dough in a greased baking tray and bake at 180 C for 18- 20 minutes until golden brown.
