Carrot Halwa gajar ka halwa
Recipe Sumaira Nadeem
Ingredients
Carrots 1 kg
Sugar 3/ 4 Cup
Green Cardamon 6
Melted ghee or oil half Cup
Khoya pao
Almonds For garnish
Method:
In a pan add carrots with 1 cup water and 1 cup milk and cook till water is dry . Add powderd sugar and cook mix well with wooden spatula add in crush green cardamon (illaichi),cook covered till water completely dries than add half cup melted ghee or oil your choice fry well for 10 minutes. Remove from fire add in crushed homemade khoya and and garnish with almonds mix well and serve.
