Checkerboard cake
Ingredients:
Eggs............................ 8 nos
Caster Suger...............225 g + half cup
Flour.............................225 g+ half cup
Butter...........................225 g+ half cup
Baking Powder. .........2- 1/2 tsp
Coco Powder. ............ 3- 4 tbsp
Vanilla essence. .........2 tsp
Milk...............................2 tbsp
Method :
Preheated oven for 180c degree. Line your pan
With butter paper.
Beat butter and suger till creamy and fuffly. Add
8 eggs in butter mixture 1 egg at a time in the batter. Add vanilla essence.Add flour, baking powder and salt and
Beat.
Mixture divided into two pans . In 1 pan add coco powder 3 tbsp in other pan with same batter as it is.
In a pan a checkerboard mould keep center in a pan first pour coco powder mixture, in center add vanilla mixture. Last add coco powder mixture.
2nd pan add vanilla mixture first. In a center add coco powder mixture than add vanilla mixture
3rd pan add again coco powder mixture. In a center add vanilla mixture than last add coco powder mixture.
Bake 3 pans or 1 by 1 2 pans for 20 to 30 minutes.
Inserted toothpick in a center than cake comes out clean. Cool in a wire rack.
Set coco powder cake first than put vanilla cake lastly put coco powder cake for checkerboard effect. Frosting for cake for chocolate ganash and whipping cream
